In a few years, the sky of Mars will be filled with innumerable drones sent from the earth, NASA thinks. Each of the drones, weighing at least 5 to 20 kilograms, will be sent from Earth to the Mars sky to monitor where the Mars is, what the height of an area is, whether there is a hole somewhere. The drones will also send sophisticated instruments with various research materials to the astronauts who landed on Mars.
A few days ago, NASA sent the first helicopter "Ingenuity" capable of flying to Mars with the "Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover" from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on an Atlas V rocket. Ingenuity will try to fly in the sky of Mars for the first time in a few months starting from February 18, 2021. Mimi Aung, director of NASA's Ingenuity Helicopter Project, said: "We humans have never been able to fly or operate a helicopter outside our Earth's atmosphere. Our effort is very similar to the discovery of the first aircraft capable of flying on Earth by the Wright brothers. ”
